Allure wins hearts of locals

Chevron Island’s newest residential project - Allure - has officially hit the market with more than 15 per cent of the apartments snapped up in the first week.

The 16 level luxury tower was launched at an exclusive event at HOTA last week. Developer and project marketer Macquarie York was joined by Cr Cameron Caldwell, agents, local businesses and Chevron Island residents to unveil the design concept.

Macquarie York Development Manager Roy Skaf says locals have embraced the design, which will complement the quality and overall identity of the emerging Chevron Island precinct.

“A sales office equipped with a purpose-built kitchen and bathroom is now open on Thomas Drive and we’ve had great support from local residents and businesses in the area,” he said.

“While Allure is set to become a distinct landmark within the precinct, it has been designed in keeping with the Island’s unique character.

“The two storey ground floor lobby and its associated recreation areas will create an activated street presence, while the landscaped areas will further enhance the established vegetation of the immediate neighbourhood.”

Designed by award winning Gold Coast firm BDA Architects, Allure comprises 89 apartments with two, three and four bedroom configurations.

“BDA has delivered a modern, subtropical design with some of the largest new apartments on Chevron Island,” he said.

“BDA’s unique design suits the desirable Gold Coast lifestyle with all apartments having good solar access, cross ventilation and deep, usable balconies offering fantastic views of Surfers Paradise, the Broadwater and Hinterland.

“The rooftop is the pinnacle of the project with a residents’ lounge, BBQ and dining area, infinity pool and several viewing decks to take in the panoramic views of the city.”

Designed for the owner-occupier, the contemporary apartments are sleek, with neutral colour palettes, abundant storage and the highest quality fittings and fixtures throughout. The apartments offer an average size of 122sqm of floor space, starting from just $495,000.

Most apartments will have two car parks, with ample visitor car parking provided.

This is Macquarie York’s foray into the Queensland property market. The project development, marketing and consultancy firm has engaged a team of award winning local consultants including Project Manager Eastview, BDA Architects and UPS Planning Services.

Construction is expected to commence mid-2019.
